Career Guidance

Sixth Form Careers Guidance at Whitchurch High School benefits from a number of different methods of delivery.

• As part of a tutorial programme.

• As a series of ‘events’.

• As part of the main course of study for Applied A-Level students.

• Through a referral system on an individual or group basis to the Careers Service Adviser.

• On the request of individual students to the Head of Sixth Form or Head of Careers.

The Head of Sixth Form is the prime mover in this area and has direct ownership of guidance in the Sixth Form.  He works closely with the Careers Service Staff and the Head of Careers to deliver a comprehensive programme of Careers Guidance.
